Pot Hot Chocolate - how well do you think this will work?

Well, was planning on making pot cookies tonight, but the grocery store is closed and the supplies from the corner store were too expensive. So, decided to try making pot hot chocolate tonight.
What I'm going to use is.
- Half and Half cream (half whole milk, half cream) - Some unsweetend bakers chocolate - Some sugar - Some vanilla extract - some orange zest
Going to finly grind up 1-2g of weed and mix it in with about a cup and a half of the milk, let it simmer for a long time, then toss in the chocolate and let it melt and simmer for a long time also. Both of these have fairly high fat content, once its all melted and boiled for awhile, toss in the other stuff and simmer some more to add some flavour. Then straint out the weed and drink --- think this will work very well?

That sounds like it would definitely work. I'd even down the weed.

BF is heading to his parents for thanksgiving, going to have the place to myself - depending on how I feel, may even toss in a small dose of mushrooms (1-1.5g) and just lay back, relax, enjoy some music, watch some TV -- not going for an 'all out intense trip' -- but more of a "relax, enjoy having the place to myself" kind of night as its pretty rare I get that.
Although, how many squares of chocolate should I use? 1 square = 1 ounce, and each square has about 15g of fat in it. Should 1 square do, or toss in 1 more?
*Note: by toss in, I mean eat - not putting it into the hot coco mix :P

I did it when I got my wisdom teeth out. I couldnt smoke, so I decided to make hot chocolate. I didnt have any cream, so I just simmered some milk with butter in it to add to the fat content. after an hour or so, I just made hot chocolate using regular ol' hot chocolate mix. Worked like a charm

Ended up boiling over, so added another g as I think a bunch of it spilt out - doh.
Just starting to drink it now, and think I already feel a bit of a brain tingle - although that could just be placebo Can still taste a bit of the weed in it, but not nearly as bad as when eating firecrackers.
I let it simmer in total for about 30 mins - think that should be long enough?

Yes, I've done a similar recipe and only simmered for 20min. all was good. Is this your first time eating? The high can get pretty strong

I've eaten a few times - a few times cookies that friends have made, and a few times just doing simple fire-crackers. First time I made my own fire crackers was 3g, and was the most ripped I had been in a *LONG* time.
Cant eat them now anymore - the taste makes me gag, I wanted to try making cookies tonight, but none of the stores that were open had the things I needed (stupid thanks giving) -- so figured I'd give this a shot.

I was wondering why I didn't get any mail today, Happy Thanksgiving!
Here's one of my favorites
One loaf Sourdough bread 4-6 Tsb. Olive Oil 1/2 Tsb. Butter 1-2 gms finely ground bud 1 tsp. grated garlic 1/2 Tsb. parmesean cheese pinch of salt and pepper cayene, if you like it spicey cappers pickled red peppers
Mix oil, herbs and spices in an oven safe bowl or dish. Heat at 300F for 20 min, during last five minutes or so, place bread in the oven. Tear into pieces and dip.

All depends on what kind of pot you use. Not all pot is baking friendly. It will work if your pot is baking friendly, however.

I hope it works like a charm for you, as you've already downed it, but I thought I'd add that maybe, to improve the effectiveness, prebake your cannabis, per the firecracker thread?
I just had some cookies yesterday from an old friend and I gotta say that I really, really miss that kind of experience. Hot chocolate would be great come winter...

I've never heard that before, so which type of pot is more/less baker friendly? I think as long as it reaches the correct temps. it should become active orally.
Oh, forgot the most important ingredient, a large chunk of goat cheese.

Often when pot has a sedative high the brownies will have little mental effect, or too much body effect. If you get a nice stimulating strain (the best I have had was some very white white widow) the mental effects are often very intense and enjoyable. The body effects do not seem to be less sensual with (some) lighter strains either IMO, they are just less inebriating/restricting.
I have had very 'stoney' pot which was an alright time to smoke, but upon eating a gram's worth of brownies I had to fight extremely hard just to not fall asleep. Didn't feel high though.

Hope the funky vibes keep on comin, big guy!
As long as you didn't burn the weed, I think you should get strapped in for a nice time. If you're still up to it, do a little bit of meal prep because I don't think it'll ruin your high at all.
My oral ingestions or more or less a roller coaster ride, lasting 8~10 hours and peaking what seems to be multiple times. Very climactic. Whether you have a very psychedelic high or narcotic high (or both ) oral ingestion is always and surely a good ride.

Brilliant idea. I think it would work pretty well. Make sure it goes down nice and hot!
-------------------- I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because they are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted. That there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go in there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control.
