Wild Finch seed mix ?

Could someone tell me if one of the following ingredients in my bag of wild finch bird seed mix would not be suitable for psilocybe cubensis cultivation...

White Prosso Millet, Red Millet, Canary Grass Seed, Canola (Rape) Seed, Nyjer Seed (''Guizotia abyssinica''), Mineral Oil...???

Could any of those ingredients interfere with the growth of the mycelium ?

actually i am not sure. but try it. i bought some wild bird seed ( not specified for finch's) at the dollar general, got a huge bag for a buck. washed it, which made the sunflower seeds float to the top, so i removed them. and this has been working better than any of the organic flours ive tried,this shit even has corn chunks in it lol

I was recently told that black seeds increase potency. I just made a batch of substrate like this...
2 cups thistle
2 cups finch blend (various millets, canary seed, etc)
1 cup black sunflower seeds
2.5 cups vermiculite
1.5 cups brf
1 cup ground flax seed

I'm gonna knock it up tonight, hope it's good :smile:
