Questions..

First of all, this site is great. I've learned alot (compared to what I knew at the very beginning), but still [obviously] have a lot more to discover.. I have a 'myco growbag' which I innoculated with p.cubensis (ecuadorian strain) last Sunday. I looked at the bag for the first time since innoculation yesterday and saw a nice little (maybe a few square inches?) patch of growth on one side of the bag. Does the fact that it's growing on the side mean anything? It will spread throughout right? (I get the feeling that's a stupid question..) I was wondering how long it generally takes to reach full colonization, especially the ecuadorian strain..? Also, are there any working procedures for "re-energizing"/getting more fertile substrate into your mycogrow bags? Perhaps with dead, sterilized plant material? Thanks.

1. its starts growing on the side because thats where your liquid spore solution ran to. 2. colonization time varies on factors, including temp., how much spore concetration in your syring, how many ccs were injected, substrate used, amount of subsrtate to be colonized (size), strain or species, correct preparation of substrate, etc. but roughly 4 weeks (+ or - 1&1/2 weeks) 3. leave your grow bag alone and let it "grow" peace!

"3. leave your grow bag alone and let it "grow" peace!" I meant after the nutrient supply of the substrate already in the bag is exhausted.. When it stops producing flushes...Can you put more sterile material in there?
