Nice Cake, No Frui...come on ll' buddy...t

I have had a nice white and fuzzy pint cake in a terrarium for a week now. Its brethren have fruited some pleasant family members but this one just sits there. There is a tiny (tiny) white ball that is almost certainly a mushroom growth but there is no cap to speak of or any significant growth.
Whats the deal guys? Is there anything one can do to promote some fruit?
