Nobody thinks Shamrock will win but who fucking cares, it's on spike for free, I would be pissed if they tried to pawn this off as payperview rematch #4

Yeah I agree ortiz is gonna beat'm down again. I really feel like Ken shamrock is gonna be the first MMA fighter to be on that sports list of athlete's that held on too long. like MJ and the wizards. He should've let go a while ago. And yeah, Ken's in his 40's now. I don't think it'll be stopped in the first round. Ken set him self up for a long ass-beating now that he bitched so much about the stoppage last time. he's gonna get lumped up similar to the first fight between him and ortiz. Man was his face A MESS after that fight.

not exactly sure but I'm actually giving ken a fairly good chance at 20% maybe even 30%
the last match was proof that ken often has very bad luck
who else fights tonight? we should bet on them

Shit Couture was in his 40s, didn't slow him down too much.
Although I guess that's a bad example since he's retired now.
Ken never really adapted as fighting did though, so I think he's just plain behind. He was a hell of a fighter in his hayday though.
You guys hear Tank Abbot's calling Tim Sylvia a joke that looks like "a sack of potatoes when he's not on juice." Abbot says he might come back to the UFC heavyweight division... if it's worth his time

I stand corrected round 1 (shouda bet me kingofthething, I woulda had gay porn all over my Sig)
I was pulling for shamrock to win but honestly I stopped liking him after his fight with Fagita (spelling) he got to tired and quit
not to mention he's an ego maniac and a piss poor trainer
the lions den would have been great, had he not left for WWF, what a traitor

i almost dont mind him leaving for the wwe if he would have just stayed gone. why come back all washed up and embarass yourself? i dont even think in his prime ken could have hung with todays mma guys. its because of ken and the early fighters that we now know what works in the ring and new fighters only study those dominant styles. a bunch of those guys in early ufc wouldnt even make it into the league today. prime example, tank abbott, big fat biker fuck could have never scored a contract in 2006 with his almost no technical skill

I agree with about 90% of this.. Ken is his early days could have hung, if people hadn;t watched him fight for 14 years.. Would he have been as good? Maybe, but because the beak out of what the Gracies, and other systems brought, Shamrock style got out shadowed, and he never tried to adapt to the new and stronger styles.
But then again look at Frank Shamrock. Frank even today would fucking toss Tito Ortiz around. Why because he took the Lions den style, and added newer and more dominate fighting to it... Frank to me is a 20 times a better fighter then Ken ever could have wanted to be.
Same thing with Hoyce Gracie.. I think Hoyce Gracie at 27, 28 was maybe the most dominate fighter ever.. His problem now is age, and speed not ability.. But who gives a shit, because the man is a legend. But if you brought Hoyce in at 27 in todays MMA, i think Hoyce would fucking still be a top fighter, if not a champion.. Why, because Gracie style started what modern day fighters follow, and Hoyce was a monster when it came to finishing opponents by taking strikers off their feet..
KOTT we totally agree about Tank Abbot.. He is a fucking disgrace, and an insult to that sport..
