By Vic Ryckaert email@example.com Police arrested an Indianapolis mother for allowing her sons to deal drugs from her Westside home.
Kim A. Taylor, 48, was initially charged with maintaining a common nuisance after Indianapolis police and the Indianapolis Housing Police Department raided a home in the 1700 block of Winfield Avenue Tuesday. Police arrested Taylor's sons, Joseph G. Drake, 27, and Henry D. Matthews, 21, and James L. Radford, 30, on various drug charges. Police seized cocaine, $706 in cash, .45-caliber ammunition and a large quantity of marijuana packaged in more than 40 individual bags. Officers have raided the home repeatedly, according to the report. When the last warrant was served in September, officers warned Taylor to take control of her house or face arrest, according to a police report. Mother and sons were being held this morning in the Marion County Jail, records show. Bond is set at $7,500 for Taylor and Radford; $15,000 for Matthews; and $50,000 for Drake, records show.
