hello everyone..

from the feedback i recived.. the mezatopac should colonize first out of the strands im cultivating. now one if the mezatopac jars had white furry blotches all around the jar, in little cirlce shapes the size of dimes...how long do you suppose it shall take beforeim going to have to transport to the terrarium?

I'm no expert, but I do know that colonization time can be quite variable depending on many things: Temp., humidity, gas exchange, moisture in the cake, nutrients in the cake, etc.
I have heard that the mezas are pretty efficient colonizers but PESA is supposed to be as well and I have recently seen pint jars take up to several months after the initial signs of mycelia growth.
Sorry I can't be more informative, if all is well, expect from a week to a month I think

I don't know for sure, cause I haven't grown yet (although I just received my Mazapatec syringe and am waiting to start!), but I'm using the PF Tek guide. It says, I think (quoting from memory), to take them out right when the first primordia start to show. I'd check out the PF Tek guide (or the one you're using, I guess) to check for certain.
