Just wondering, is he able to think of anything else after that? I hope he hasn't live in a white room with soft walls for those decades?

I usually do not more than 25 libs for intence tripping.
I take it you meant 'sensitivity'?

Apparently, the man makes and sells ivory figurines and pipes. As a die-hard environmentalist, he gets his ivory from frozen mammoths that have been stuck in ice since the last Ice Age. He was mentioned in a little book on shrooms because he cured himself from a severe degree of alcoholism using 400 libs (a 'moderate' dose in his terms...) by making a promise in front of his friends never to touch any more alcohol for the rest of his life. It appears that that promise combined with the trip has indeed helped and the man has never consumed alcohol afterwards.
The account doesn't mention any hospitalization; I suppose because this man never was treated for mental illness. I do think that he must have been kinda wacko the days (weeks? months?) after that 1100 libs mega-trip.

He's really a bohemian dude, you guessed it The story is from a Dutch book on shrooms btw. The author included a number of experiences with mushrooms (usually liberty caps) as an illustration of their modern use and the phenomenon of tripping (both positive and negative aspects.) The author has actually traveled to this frozen mammoth guy to take an interview, so they spoke face to face. This has probably happened around 1998 when the book was written. The author is Arno Adelaars and in Dutch the book is called 'Alles over paddo's', which translates to 'Everything about shrooms'. To my knowledge, this book is only available in Dutch and in German translation. Adelaars is one of the handful of publicists that is responsible for the majority of the Dutch psychonautic literature.

I'd say libs are less predictable than cubes. Trip on libs is always as switchback riding.
