I use a mushroom combination that includes reishi with my tumor patients as well as other components. Never used reishi alone for tumors.

Reishi seems to have lots of properties. Mrs Rabbit was diagnosed with cancer and is in her 5th month of chemotherapy after surgery to remove the tumor. She's been drinking reishi tea several times daily, and after 5 months of chemo she still has 100% of her hair.
We can't say for certain it's the reishi, but everyone else who started chemo at the same time as she did, is bald. RR

I'm so sorry.
Awesome that she's doing better than others!
Any use of Turkey Tail there?
Please give Mrs. Rabbit my best--don't know her but, if she's with you, then I'll have to assume she's a cool lady.

Turkey tail is great as well. The first ones of the winter season are starting to show now. Also note, when I say 'reishi' I'm speaking of Ganoderma oregonese. I have several cultures of G lucidum, but from our experience, the G oregonese is better, plus we have an unlimited supply.
Many mushroom species are known to reduce tumors in the lab. The trick is to find the ones that actually work in real life. Unfortunately, chemotherapy is the accepted treatement now, so we're going with that, but also using the mushrooms as a double whammy. RR

Not all of mine use chemo, but they use a more complex organic protocol. I think chemo and rad get in the way of getting rid of cancer (IMHO) by weakening and poisoning the body.

Oooh! Can we get a couple pounds of those?
Our regular food includes reishi, turkey tail, cordyceps, crackly caps and maitake when we can get them. Seasonally we eat wood ears, lion's mane, oysters, morels, shittake and puffballs.
Get out there and get yours! How can you make do on just one kinda shoom?
Mushrooms are good food!
