Feel Right???

What does a mushroom that has just been picked suppost to feel like? its kinda wet feeling, and the cap is wet too, kinda slippery. Is that normal?

Normal, but everywhere you touch them they are going to
bruise and turn blue / purple. So avoid it till they're a little drier.
Fresh mushrooms are 90% water, so they're going to be
moist.
During the first stages of drying, avoid letting them touch each
other, to prevent rotting. After they dry a little it matters less.

sweet, its koo that ppl help out so much. If not, I would have threw the stuff out long ago... hehe, I had a few problems, but I did pretty good from what i hear.. But all propz goez to tha ppl that help!!!
