Question for a friend

A friend of mine is doing a little biology experiment and almost has fully colonized jars. Once these are filled does he wait another week? After that week when they are birthed he's supposed to keep the humidity to 95-98% and then bring it down as it pins right? I just dont want him jumping the gun too prematurely, just wanna look out for his best interests. Thanks

Tell your freind to leave them a week after they fully colonize then then birth them. It makes sure that the cake is colonized the whole way through.
As for dropping the humidity as they pin I think you are thinking of casings. If you case them you are supposed to drop the humidity but birthing them as cakes you try to keep it as high as possible
