My Modified PMP Fruiting Chamber

Well I didn't like using the rocks in the bottom, seemed to harbor contams and it was kind of tough to keep clean, so this is my modified setup, using no rocks at all. Let me know what you think!

Three polyfill holes in the lower area.


Hole for the air hose.


Instead of sitting on the rocks, the casing/cakes will be supported by this metal rack (has to be painted)


The tub get's narrower at the bottom, so the screen is cut tight so it rests above the polyfill holes.


Plenty of room in this tub!


A plexiglass window put in the lid, attached and sealed from behind with silicone caulking.


Two holes are now cut in the lid, (outside the window) with coffee filter for air exchange


The bottom is then filled with water and the air bubbler wand is installed. So far it's working great!

i wouldn't think using only water like that will provide that much humidity. you forget that the reason a PMP has humidity is the hydrotron or perlite, the air pump only provides fresh air.

But it would also create positive pressure and push the edges of water vapor up inot the micro climate.

the humidity is very high. it works just fine so far.

coffee filters really arent going to filter anything out, i would go with polyfill all around
