Is this the right track?
    #611368 - 04/17/02 10:33 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

have two 8x8 casing trays in a tupperware container with a clear plexiglass lid on the top. Inside I have perlite in there and have of course put some water in there. Right now mycelium is making its way up to the top. The temp is around 71 or 72 degrees. Is this a good temp to be at? Also, I have a heating pad to make it warmer if I needed to. Also, so if this is a good thing I got going when should I initiate pinning? Also, at what temp and humidity should I have it at to initiate pinning. Thanks alot. Also, I am casing I have a 1/2 pint cake in each tray using straight coco coir. I have seen mycelium up on the top layer, so I am assuming this is a good thing. Anyways, comments please. Thank you.

1) So 73-75 degrees good for letting mycelium penetrate through coco coir?

2) Should I raise the temp once the mycelium has grown a lot to initiate pinning?

72-75 is optimal-for pinning and fruiting-u wont need a heating pad-it will be too much- sounds like your own your way to a nice flush
