how long for cake to finish?

a freind wants to knoe how long it will take for the inside of a cake to finish when the outside is complety white... it's been 10 days for him, and he wants to know how much longer to wait for complete colonization.

they probably are done.
If your going to do cakes....go ahead and birth it.
If your going to case them....crumble one and see what the inside looks like.

if you were to case what should the inside of a cake look like when you crumble it up ?

A.) White.
If the rice isn't taken over by the mycelia, flake it out and
throw it away. And just use what's white.
Usually if the bottom is done, the center is done, unless you
use one of those ramsey seals (foil inside the jars, and a bad
idea in my opinion)
