Reconnecting Opposites

Greetings fellow being, follow me, I would like to show you something..
Welcome to inner space. Look around you. Are you lost? Don’t be, I will give you a relative by which you can find yourself in this chaos..
Right now, you are very very very very very small. You are in a realm in which you can be a particle or a wave, depending on how you choose to see yourself. The same goes for pretty much everything else. Energy is all around, you are energy, actually there is not really a “you” anymore, for you equals all in this continuum of existence. Pick one of the many fractal gateways before you and it will take you to another realm where there will be more portals, and behind those even more doors from which energy pours out and flows in, all in one continuous motion, one flow, one instant, all occurring everywhere and nowhere at every moment..
I see you are very confused, that’s okay, I thought it would be amusing to drop you here right off the bat. Let’s zoom out a bit.
Take a moment to absorb the scenery. Although it may appear as if not much has changed, we have actually traveled quite far. To provide a new conceptual basis, one pixel here equals the realm of pure energy we found ourselves in earlier. Can you see the round spheres floating about? These are electrons surfing the waves of energy, the first signs of atomic existence. There are also many vortexes appearing and disappearing, once again carrying energy back and forth through the sub-atomic inner space. It is still very chaotic here and so it’s very hard to tell where is what in this vast zone of existence. Would you like to see more? Here we go, hold on tight, let’s zoom out again..
A few atoms packed together, vibrating at their own paces, bonding to another yet holding each other back so they that remain separate. Lots of activity here, lots of energy packed into tiny little spheres. At the center of each is the nucleus invisible to the eye at this range. We are slowly beginning to step into material existence. Also a “you” is now able to be distinguished from the rest of being. Feels familiar here doesn’t it? Yes, now you know where this trip is going. Ready for more? Zoom out..
Here we are, in the midst of a pool of water molecules, each molecule consisting of three single atoms bonded together. One can see how orderly things have become now, objects have become more separated and are more spread out through space. It’s still a bit noisy from all the chaos we have emerged from, but you will notice that the further we zoom out, the quieter existence will appear to be. Let’s continue our voyage..
We have no entered visible range. If a child playing in the snow were to take a magnifying glass and point it at this particular fractal, we could wave back at him or her as we hang on to the outer edge of the water crystal. As we descend towards the ground, the snowflake melts upon impact and we step off to explore more of what we consider to be the external world..
Being about the size of a louse we are rapidly approached by an ant, an insectoid organism with a decentralized nervous system. It scratches you with its furry antennas. With its unemotional look on its face we cannot tell what it is thinking, at least not with our minds. The ant then quickly crawls towards the horizon of soil, pebbles, and leaves which from our perspective seems very far away..
A patch of grass covered in morning dew. The ant is just about the width of a single grass stalk. You know now very well where you are in space-time. Grass is the very carpet of earth, the organism you walk and talk on every time you step outside your house. I will go back to the source now, you are in no more need of a helping hand, existence from here on now is for you to explore, go on and continue your journey..
appreciate the magnificent beauty and diversity of existence, the fabric woven by the fabric itself, radiating outwards and inwards, back and forth, in and out, watch its spherical expansion and contraction, follow the path, become your own guide..
sit back, relax, light up a joint, and wonder..
wonder on..
and on..
and on..
and beyONd..
and wow..
far beyond the point where the word far loses its meaning..
far beyond comprehension..
far so far beyond that it turns into its opposite..
far becoming close..
close becoming this again..
Welcome to outer space. Look around you. Are you lost? Don’t be, I will give you a relative by which you can find yourself in this chaos..
Right now, you are very very very very very big. You are in a realm in which you can be a particle or a wave, depending on how you choose to see yourself. The same goes for pretty much everything else. Energy is all around, you are energy, actually there is not really a “you” anymore, for you equals all in this continuum of existence. Pick one of the many fractal gateways before you and it will take you to another realm where there will be more portals, and behind those even more doors from which energy pours out and flows in, all in one continuous motion, one flow, one instant, all occurring everywhere and nowhere at every moment..
reconnecting the end with the beginning and the beginning with the end..
life becomes death, death becomes life..
outer space becomes inner space, inner space becomes outer space..
why not?

There's a thin line between the subatomic and the astronomical, and we dont have a real clue what's going on at either. Nice pictorial, reminded me of What the Bleep Do We Know ... or perhaps the fact that the H20 molecule is from the movie made the association.

Oh, so that's how you interpret it?
Don't be attached - just let go, I was referring to the archetype, not anyone here in particular.

Only a complete moron would think this all happened by chance.
Presumably, you believe some deity created all that beauty and it couldn't be otherwise. So, using the same reasoning, I'll ask you how could a deity capable of such beauty have 'happened by chance'?
If the universe CAN'T have always existed in situ, then it follows that the deity who created the universe CAN'T either.
This begs the question: who created the deity?

Have I mentioned the word "deity"? What does "deity" mean specifically to you?

I don't follow. Explain.

Have I mentioned the word "deity"?
You seemed to imply it by stating that the universe exists by other than chance. What did you mean by 'not chance'?
What does "deity" mean specifically to you?
It means something metaphysical to me. Something that is not in evidence, cannot be objectively seen or measured or experienced. What does it mean to you?
I don't follow. Explain.
If you say that the universe must have a deliberate creator, then I say the creator must have a deliberate creator, using your own reasoning. Unless I misunderstand you when you say the universe is not a chance occurrence.
Did you mean something else?

Just a note to everyone that this comment in question has been reviewed before anyone even replied to it, and I was involving myself in some communication on the matter. I am not going to remove it, but I am going to suggest that we do not concerns ourselves with further discussion of it. I do not think that AlteredAgain will appreciate his insightful thread being tainted by unnecessary issues, and any continuation of the issue or any attitudes that have been invoked will by it will prompt follow-up.
Not saying that the related discussion could not continue, either, pertaining to whether or not reality was created or just happened, but let's keep the bullshit out of it.
Peace.

well if we can all agree on that god is everything and all being, then why argue about its origin?
if god is everything and all being, then the origin of god is god itself.
it's really that simple..
the message of the journey i created for you, is that god is fractal.
[flash=500,350]http://www3.upload2.net/download/FyoxjgU7OeUBasx/dactylfractalzoom.swf [/flash]
you see, where is the end and where is the beginning? where is the transition point?
you cannot define it, god is always in motion, you say it's here and the second you say that, it will be else where.
whether this happened by chance, or whether this happened according to design, can anyone prove any of that while at the same time debunking the other?
i do not think that is possible.
observe god, appreciate god, embrace god, but don't try to figure out god,
because you will figure out forever.
that is all.

There's nothing wrong with using logic. You say god is everywhere. To me, that means that everything is everything. No matter where you are or what you feel or see - that is what is 'should' be. So experience it. Anything more specific, in regards to the idea of god/everything, is too restricting.
