Has anyone taken this course? I need to know if it is worth the investment.

The only individual I know who took it spoke very highly of what he learned.

Did he earn a degree? I was wondering how likely it would be that I could take this course through FMRC, and test out through a local university and get a degree that way.

I took it to complement my med practice and was happy. I only got the ed part, wasn't able to afford the membership and journal also which would have been cool.
It starts on mycology basics and goes through several specific species as well as poisoning, med key and etc.
The thing about challenging out of a myco degree is knowing what the particular school requires, or rather what thier specific degree is geared to.
FMRC's is (IMHO) geared primarily to the field researcher with a good basis in sterile tech and basic cultivation knowledge.
You would need to special study any blocks that another school might require (such as slime molds or taxonomy to level 4 as examples...)
If you are getting the membership and journal package it is better!
Best Wishes!
P.S. Maybe you should check out Dr. Tom Volks page for another example of work under the general heading of "Mycology" - it can be broad or specific.

Many community coilleges on the west coast and other regions of america offer mycology courses and/or classes with degrees acceptable for higher education. I am not sure if Peele's degerees hold any clout with higher education classess towards other degrees.

mj

He is honest though so I have that respect for his knowledge.

I was offered degrees from Harvard and cambridge while in bangkok by students and on the streets in Banlumphu.
