Humidifier and Air exchange product

I realize that this product can be made by the average person with house hold things, but I was wondering if anyone has used it or heard anything about them. Here is the address.

I saw this product in the petstore today and was curious as well. I thought that $20 is a tad pricey for a sponge in a jar. But has anyone tried one of these to see how much humidity it puts out?
