Amanita Muscaria - ID Help

Found this on a walk around a nature reserve. I was wondering what type of Amanita muscaria this is and if its safe to eat after proper oven drying.

Location: Western Washington.
Habitat: At a nature reserve, growing on the side of a path on grass and decaying plant material next to blackberry bushes.
Cap: Orange/Red in center fading to Orange/Yellow around edges, Sticky when wet, Convex, Remnants of veil present.
Gills: White, Crowded and swollen, free.
Spore Print: Didn't get one before it dried , I'm guessing white? Don't know of any other Amanita species having non-white spores.
Stalk: White, Thick, Ring present at top of stem, No scales present as I could tell accept for a faint scaly ring right above the bulb at the bottom, Snaps semi easy but uneven.
Bruising: Creamy yellow where handled on the stalk, and where I broke it.
I guess thats the best I can describe it. Any input will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Nice description. Since the specimen is not in the greatest of shape it is hard to tell. Some of the features get lost or become harder to observe the older it gets.. I wouldn't risk it - I'd suggest trying to find a fresher specimen and trying to ID from there.

That pic suggests that it is either not Amanita muscaria, or missing some A. muscaria features...

When looking for A. muscaria, it is very important to check for rings on the stalk, just above the bulbous base.
This photo I took the other day clearly shows these rings.

If the rings are not present, the species is not A. muscaria and should be considered poisonous.

Looks a bit like A. flavoconia however this is something of a tough genus. Don't consider that an ID... and don't consider the species name to be an indication of edibility, in this case the flavo could be dangerously toxic. Check out mushroomexpert.com for a bit of info on chemical tests you can perform such as checking for amyloid spores. You can sometimes test the spore surface assuming it was sporulating at the time it dried. This is where a microscope comes in handy.
