Well, those recipes are also in the FAQ. Read the Grain section of the FAQ.

Would you like to make such a page?
And formulate a question to it? I will then add it to the FAQ.

1. Rye flower vs. BRF
I did this test. Bear in mind that I could not find Dark Rye
Flower. All I found was "Arrow Mills Rye Flower" It sits
right next to the BRF at the health food store. And it SUCKS!
Slow to colonize, and doesn't fruit as well as BRF as cakes
or as casings. I also tried quoina (keen-wa) , it sucked even
worse. (i tried on three different strains)
So I have this cow feeder that I like to throw caps and spent
cakes(crumbled) to let the cows innoc the field.
So I decided to dump the rye flower and the quiona in the
feeder in hopes that the cows like it better than the
mushrooms do. Maybe it will cause them to lick up any spores
that are sticking on the bottom.
Just trying to save you some time and frustration.

i havent tried brf. but when i switched over to quinoi from rye flour, i had a lil rye flour left, anf just not to waste, i used 8 C. verm, 2C. rye flour(what i had left) 2C quinoi flour, 4 C water, 1tablespoon honey. and this mix worked better than plain rye, or plain quinoi flour( with the other additives of course)

The guy at the health food store told me that dark rye flour was just rye with the husks still on. Not sure if it's true or not, but I got some of that and ground it up. Worked okay for me, but I did something wrong with the quinoa flour. Every jar contam'd, even though I used several strains/syringes. Right now I'm happier with bird seed than I was with any of the flours I tried.

once you get the hang of birdseed and/or rye you'll never look back to shitty flour and verm.
