That's a shame.
Today around 5 I'm going to take a walk downtown in my small little town of Edmonds. I plan on making some stops, taking my usual circuit around my known patches. I doubt I'll find any, by there is one I have a good feeling about; it's a notoriously early producer.
I plan oon bringing my camera, and hopefully, I'll have something to share. At the least maybe a good sunset.

Cool. I checked my wild patch, and there was nothing yet.
I checked my Baeo patch, too. Nothing.
One think about my Baeo patch really gave me some concern. I was told that the abandoned building, on that site had been used for a meth lab, several times, and the room being used has been charred from an explosion, supposedly linked to a meth lab explosion.
I'm thinking I will only be taking photos there, from now on. I'm just not sure that the surrounding areas have not been grossly contaminated with some pretty fucked up chemicals.
Well. Good to hear there are pinner out there. I think I'll take a trip to Seattle soon.

Yes indeed. I can't wait to see the PNW threads. This is my second fall with the Shroomery and it feels good to still be a part of a great community that is as obsessed with hunting mushrooms as I am. Almost 7 straight days in Portland and I can say that it is probably still too warm and not wet enough for our favorite actives. But please correct me if I am wrong..

nope, I would agree with that. Until I see some pics with proof of date, I'm waiting a little :P Temps seem a tad too warm, some of the edibles which are up in the mountains that fruit in warmer temps than actives aren't even up yet.

Yeah, I did a little transplanting last season. Where there were great substrates and no fruits, I would just transplant a little piece of mulch with myc on it, here and there. Hope it works. I'll find out sometime in the next few seasons.
