Are Dolphins Smarter Than A Walmart Employee?
    #6090112 - 09/22/06 12:27 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

http://blog.payitforwardonline.com/2006/09/22/are-dolphins-smarter-than-a-walmart-employee/

Quote:

At the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies in Mississippi, Kelly the dolphin has built up quite a reputation. All the dolphins at the institute are trained to hold onto any litter that falls into their pools until they see a trainer, when they can trade the litter for fish. In this way, the dolphins help to keep their pools clean.

I’m finally in the store and some guy follows me around, telling me that bandaids are on sale for 97 cents or something like that. I realized at this point that he was an employee. Even after I told him I wasn’t interested, he gave me a big speech about the bandaids- alright buddy I don’t want your bandaids.

I'm not sure I get that comparison. I'd say dolphins are smarter on average though since 0% of dolphins work for Walmart whereas 100% of Walmart employees work for Walmart.

The average Wal*Mart employee is, I'd guess, either underqualified or just in a bad way.

Working for wal*mart is one of the worst retail jobs a person can get. Wal*mart is non-union, has a history of violating labor law, and is generally just a demanding and domineering employer.

If someone could do better than wal*mart, then I doubt they would pass up on the opportunity to do better.

My best friend was a cart-pusher for a year at walmart. A few of his friends worked there too, and they just fucked around all day, screwing wal-mart. They never got fired, and they missed PLENTY of work days. At their age, they could survive off of the money. It didn't seem so bad - however, I have since then edumacated myself on walmart and don't set foot in the death store unless I must.

Have you seen the crazy shit walmart pulls in China? Making their employees live in "walmart housing", and taking the rent out of their paychecks? Even if they don't want to live in the housing, rent is still stolen from them. Fuck. That's hardly the worst of it.

walmart employees have their own IQ test score range.. somewhere between 20-40.

i personally dread shopping at walmart however sometimes the low prices just suck you in.

the customers are just as bad as the employees half the time.. never know what ull see.
