What about Oat for the cakes?

HEllo Again!...i got horses and a lot of oat(horses food)...can i make the cakes for inculcation with whole oat and horse shit?...this way i can save time and a little money, not to much$$ but good for an argentine in the corralito like me..

Yes I have done it, but you have to be careful about the stickyness of oats. They tend to form clumps to tight for the mycelium. Just watch the water mix and add vermiculite to keep the proper air spaces.
