premature lipa mushrooms

i cased lipa yai's in jiffy mix (pretty much 50/50+) and the mushrooms were growing fine just an uneven pinset...but now the caps are opening, and one of them (above) are going to shoot spores! should i cut the cap to make a print? what can i do to end prematureness?

after a certain point in reavching maturity psilo stops eing produced. energy is devted to forming sex organs and spores ect. so if you want these to munch on yourself and want the most outta it, get them small. youll get mor psilo a gram.

more air exchange will grow them bigger in your case. thats what it looks like aniiways.
dont expect tle lipas to get much bigger than that though unless you mix them with dung or straw; theyre pretty petite in themselves.
