Pinning and pheromones?

My cat had started many experiments using different strains on different substrates and teks and some many weeks apart, yet most started pinning at roughly the same time.

I wonder if there was some sort of signal passed from one container to another?Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, it's called telepathy and you don't believe in it. I do, but not in this case. LOL

Anyway, i believe that moon phases has a lot to do with the several stages of mushroom development, i allways try to hit full moon for pinning stage. Anyway, plants and animals are afected, why not mushrooms.

I never heard about airborne hormone transfers but extracts from young mushrooms can incude pinning. (Stamets MC)

I have noticed the same effect many times. Indoor, outdoor, and even totally sealed agar cultures all pin at the same time.
