A good start would be to send a letter in snail mail called a "demand letter". First step in taking someone to small claims court. Send it with a signature verification.

Damages will include as follows:
 $40.00 for order
 50.00 for small claims court filing fee
I am requesting that you please forward me repayment as soon as possible or by May 13th, 2002. If I do not receive repayment in full, then I will proceed to Small Claims Court to have this matter resolved.

Yes to bring up your "Spore Wars" towards the end of them she and I had at it via email. The first thing that is suspect is the gender, as it was played up even in "her" attempts to "diss". It's another case of a skinny bitchass punk kid from Texas trying to rip off suckas. Tried to warn people back then but that was when the "Spore Chicks" had street cred. I believe I may be one of the few people still alive who have a photo and real name of the person who this Beth may very well be. I must consult the Archives. Oh, and if I'm wrong and it's some fat girl from Texas, someone should make a pun about pressure being applied.

AFOAF once had a person that really ticked them off,, i believe it wa her boss, so she got her home adress , and subrcibed her to about 500 magazines, she would just go to the supermarket and take the little free postage mailer in the magazines(the store people wont stp you, tell them that you are going to subscribe) shit my friend even got her boyfriend in on getting them. her boss went fucking looney trying to cancel all the subscriptions,,
just a thought, or hel have to move somewhere else... its petty but its fun,,,think about it, piles and piles of magazine from quilting monthly , and plastic duck collectable magazine,,,,,,,,

It seems the pressure may have worked...or mabye they came around of their own accord. Either way, someone by the name of "Jim Dir" informed me that they will be sending me a refund. This was acomplished sending them a perfectly civil email by the way:D

I dissagree enter. You see when you alow people to get away with conning people out of there hard erned money by not showing them the error of their ways you encourage more such behavior. whos to say she didn't just set up shop somewher else not uncovered by the shroomery? I'm not talking about hurting her or her belongings in any way. just mabey lighting a flaming bag of crap at her doorstep. You know, if you were one of the guys who got robbed by the postal worker, you could do something prooductive (for a change) and go down to Your local Post Office and ask them what you should do. Give them the P.O. address you sent your payment to and they will give you the phone number of the Post Office where the theft took place.
If Hawk won't file charges against the man why don't you. You were the one who got robbed.
