I do not wish to enter into the religious debate between Swami and Enter, although some of what I will say might be relevant. In one of the posts someone mentioned that you must follow your heart (I can't remember how it was said exactly), and Swami replied "Like O.J....."etc. I think it is absolutely important to do what you think is right (i.e. following your heart or whatever). We make decisions everyday, consciously and subconsciously, and these decisions define our life. It would behoove all of us to investigate thoroughly and honestly out INTENTIONS when we make decisions. Are our actions born of desire, hatred, lust greediness, aversion, fear or anytihng else in that negative realm? To be honest enough with yourself to realize that many of your actions are born of these emotions is the difficult and painful first step. That leads to refraining from acting upon negative emotions. Instead we recognize good volitions and cultivate these. To act on the good feeling and not the bad feelings. This basically the law of karma, by the way. For me this is the root of the spiritual quest. Yes Swami, it is subjective, it cannot be proven that someone is being honest with their self, and good and bad cannot be definitely defined. This is why the the spiritual quest is personal. The only place to find answers is within yourself, not in experiements or reports or anything like that, it is a matter of opening wider your own heart and discovering for yourself what is GOOD and what is RIGHT in this world... Peace.... ps thank you for this place to speak my mind. it is very refreshing, and I appreciate all of your entries.

I do not wish to enter into the religious debate between Swami and Enter Too late, you just did. In one of the posts someone mentioned that you must follow your heart...and Swami replied "Like O.J. What really was said: If something inside us drives us toward something, we should follow it. If you are striving to make me look bad, that is OK if you do it honestly. The statement above and "following your heart" have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT connotations. Do the two statements mean the same thing? No. Will I get an apology for the twisting of words? No.

Swami, I apologize for that mixup of phrases. You are right they have very different connotations. Thank you for the clarification on that issue. However, you did not really address my comment in a meaningful way, but thanks anyway. Peace....

"A threat of physical violence does not constitute humor in my world. " - swami I don?t believe he was trying to threaten you, I think he was trying to be sarcastic... and he said that too. He even put a cute smiley face behind that sentence that threatened you.

Did not realize that there was a question in there that required a response.

there was no question to be answered, but there was also no question in my first entry, but you pointed out a problem that within the whole scope of my message was really not very important. You have a way of addressing semantics but skirting the heart of messages. You seem to find it necessary to subject each phrase to rigorous Swami scrutiny instead of replying to the message as a whole. Peace
