I birthed my cakes on 4/7. It is now 4/14 and there is no signs of pinning anywhere. I had about a 36 hour time where the humidity dropped below 90%. Temp in the terrarium is 71-73 and humidty 96-98% now. Are these conditions ok for fruiting? Mycelium has thickend around the cake but no fruit. Starting to get antsy about it. I have patiance normally, but friday is my b-day and i wanted fresh fruit.

They will pin, soon. Be patient.
Try up the temp to 76f.

I belive they are EQ. But the syringe was 3 years old and i forgot.

i am going to up the temp.

Be patient.

lucky if you see any pinning before 2 weeks....sometimes.

73 degrees is a good temp for mine!
Think anywhere between 73 and 78 is good.

I have been reading up on dunking. I got everything ready to do a dunk and when i was ready to put the cakes in the jars i saw a few very little pins. YAY. For all the newbies (like me) out there. Patience is key! Thanks all for you support.
