Definately - set a side a blue one and send it to workman, he's the guy who does most of the culturing of new varieties of mushrooms and makes them available to everyone.
I am very sure it would be appreciated! his email is workman@sporeworks.com , or you could PM him within the shroomery here... http://www.shroomery.org/forums/sendpriv...=0&fpart=1&vc=1
Man those blue ones are cool!

Those are probably the most potent mushrooms ever found.
They probably contain an abnormal amount of psilocin for Libs.
I've found bluing libs, but not such as those. That is fucking awesome.
On another note. What if the abnormal amounts of triptamines, or other characteristics for that matter, would place those into their own species?
That would be fuckin cooool!
Great finds.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. I wouldn't have even seen this post if I didn't periodically search my own name.
Those blue ones are a varient of P. semilanceata. P. semilanceata is an extremely variable species ranging from non-nippled rounded caps to orange sporeless varieties. The bluing isn't from bruising but the natural cap coloration. I've cultivated a somewhat less blue variety but this new one is even nicer. I can work with a dried sample if it is provided.
Outdoor cultivated blue varient of Psilocybe semilanceata. This particular one tends to develop brownish tints as it ages and it lacks the distinctive nipple.

Northest Finland
Watch out guys, there was a time when the Norwegian monarchy banned people from going to Finland to consult with Finnish sorcerers because they were considered too powerful!

Very interesting that it is natural coloration instead of bluing. Strange coincidence.
