High school drop-outs!?

Hi!
I wonder. I kind of think, sleep deprivation is the greatest cause at any high schools. Sure, if all your friends drop out, you might feel like doing it to.
So…
Instead of believing anything based on that assumption, I would like for all you high school drop outs. Or, any of you who can ask; some who dropped out.
Was it because of:

Should have put a 'Didnt Drop out/graduated' option.

You have some sort of need to have your own catagory in every poll? lol
this ones for the drop outs, it's simple, other are not included.

Sleeping in is a really lame excuse for someone to use to excuse dropping out of school.
I have friends that dropped out because of family problems, pier pressure, pressure from school faculty(yes, the principal urged them to quit), and a myriad of other reasons. I've never heard of anyone who just didn't want to get up in the morning.

I absolutely hated getting up so early - I was zombie-like the first two classes and depressed until the weekend when I could get proper sleep. I often contemplated dropping out, not solely for the sleep thing, but it was one of the factors. I changed my schedule to not have a first period and getting an extra 50 or minutes of sleep(get up after sunrise then!) helped my depression and my grades.
Thank you for sharing that. This seem more common than people like to admit.
Our body "can be"/"is" regulated by the light, thus some people just CANNOT function early in the morning.

I kept getting kicked out, due to boredom from them trying to teach me shit I learned in 2nd grade.
I quit paying attention to school after 7th grade, when everything just became repetitive, and I never saw anything new. Which may be related to changing schools every year or 2 after 6th grade. Everything became futile and had no meaning to me, nothing served a purpose, other than to brainwash me into working for the man.
Fuck the man.
I was in all advanced classes up until I got in 7th grade as well, making straight A's except for spelling, my spelling sucked ass, then the new school didn't offer anything advanced, and I started making mostly d/f and barely passing.
By 9th grade I was sleeping my way through school, playing on different BBS, and "The Sierra Network (TSN)" an online gaming community, later known as "The Imagination network (INN)" to be bought out by AOL and ruined instantly.
I rarely failed my tests at school, and never did homework, because I always thought my school should be school, and home is home, not school, and it's not like I'm paying to go there. That's the only thing that kept my grades above failing. I was a 3rd year sophomore when I dropped out when I was 17, and my mother finally let me, after me begging from the day I turned 16. I had 16 credits out of 50 some required to graduate, after 3.2 years of high-school. 2 months after I dropped out, without taking ANY GED classes, I passed my GED, with very high scores, I can't remember them now it's been 9 years. I never went to college, and don't make shit for $$ from my job.
stay in school kids!!

Could be different state to state. I think in Ontario(don't know about the rest of Canada) you had to be out of highschool for at least a year.
