Do not consume them. They are not active.I doubt they are poisonous but to be on the safe side,do not ingest them.
They look like P.antillarum or a similar species.Non edible, non active.

Dude, don't eat anything until you are 100% sure of the identification. Got that?

Cuz you're spazzing out like a 10 year old. Double posting the same finds, talking about eating without an ID... OK, take a deep breath -- whew -- now read up on the mushrooms in your area and keep hunting. Looks like you have an eye for it - just keep going out there and looking and maybe you'll find something good.

i understand that but yall have to understand that shrooms are the only thing that get me excited any more and when i found out that i could pick them myself in a spot thats not even 10 min away by walking i freaked out. yes like a little kid. so if i seem too anxious or too excited then i apologize. ive had some really great life changing exp. with shrooms and if everything works out i will be having more. as for double posting, were only aloud to have 6 pics per post and i really didnt want to delete any of the old pics so i just started a new post.

Copelandia Cyanescens bruise like hell. Just touching the stem slightly will cause them bruise. Unless you picked them by grabbing the cap only i'd say what you have are Panaeolus Antillarum. Pinch the stem, wait 2 minutes, take a picture and update your post with some nice clear blue bruising. Only after this should you consider consuming.

They obviously wont bruise blue since you can see where the stem was snapped and its uneven. There would be really apparent bruising.

i pinched them about 5 minutes ago and the only aparent bruising is a mild darker color. not blue but like a light brown. the cap seems to bruise a dark grey/blue color. well could pan. ants. and cope. cyns. grow in the same area or does one dominate over the other.

You are on the right track - the blue bruising is pretty much how you distinguish them. The two species grow in the same habitat, so just keep trying.
When you see blue bruising you will know it! It's "fucken blue".

i went back out this morning. temp. was 78, humid. was 84 and the last time it rained was 2 nights ago and for only 30 minutes at most. i did find two more species of shrooms which none turned blue so i tossed them. i guess im having such bad luck because of the rain factor. i also heard that you will only find active shrooms in dung from cows that are fed corn. if your hunting in a field with cows that only eat grass then you will have no luck at all. also where can i find the gathering forum? thanks
