 Willie Nelson busted with weed and shrooms...

Willie Nelson and several members of his band were issued misdemeanor citations for drug possession early today during a traffic stop in Saint Martin Parish.
The traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 10 near Breaux Bridge.
Trooper Willie Williams says troopers smelled a strong odor of marijuana when the driver opened the bus door.
During a search of the bus, Williams say approximately 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana and approximately 2/10 of a pound of mushrooms were located on the bus.
The 73-year-old Nelson of Spicewood, Texas; 59-year-old Tony Sizemore of Saint Cloud, Fla.; 75-year-old Bobbie Nelson of Briarcliff, Texas; 54-year-old Gates Moore of Austin, Texas; and 50-year-old David Anderson of Dallas, Texas were issued citations for possession of mushrooms and possession of marijuana and released.

He was smart enough to get busted in Texas... They were issued citations and released. Ole Willie would have been ass raped here in Nazi Jersey.

I get caught with 2 grams and a flexeril with no prior history and spend 3 months in jail with thousands of dollars in fines and have my license taken away until I can pay them.

Actually Texas isn't very lenient on their drug laws. I met a guy in jail that got busted in texas while travelling to florida that had 2 lbs on him. He was serving 4 years.

willie will be ok, he's got the money to get out of whatever they put him into. that is sort of entrapment. i'm sure the situation only escalated because of what was heard about him and his drug use. Poor willie...

That's not entrapment, that's probable cause...smelling marijuana coming from someones car isnt entrapment
