I'm using alum. bread pans and the 50/50+ casing tek but the tek only explains half of what i want to know. How thick should the verm. layer be and how thick should the 50/50+ layer be for bread pans? Also whats the best way to break up the cakes? the tek says cut it like a cucumber etc. just want to be sure :smile: How many jars should i use per bread pan?

about 1/2" should be fine

3/4"-1" will work

slice like a cucumber(large disks), put slices in pan, crumble remaining slices to fill gaps, get it nice and even.

2x1/2 pints are good.
