cyanescens habitat
    #6072321 - 09/17/06 09:39 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

the habitat of cyanescens...

from the bulk of what i read they are a "wood loving mushroom", though poo and grass are included in some reports. Michigan is wood mushroom kingdom, and i hear they grow around hear, i have read no credible reports of them growing yet. iam going to a area to search for them and am was curious of the environment in witch they grow around here. what type of trees, age of wood, temp, water level, exc, ??? i cant find any details on the net, but still lookin.
any info will be much appreciated

They do not grow wildly in Michigan. You'd have better luck trying to hunt Laughing Gyms.

Cyanescans do not grow in Michigan, they are native to the Pacific Northwest and that's pretty much it.

Where ever you read that, I'd like to see.

Also if it says Ps. Cyanescans (introduced), that means they can be grown there through cultivation processes.
