>Well, i dont think thats gonna work, because hemp seeds germinate to quickly (3 to 5 days). PC'ing for 1 1/2 hours would take care of this!! Personally I think this is too long, maybe 50mins to 1hr. Interested to see the results!! Good luck

Sterilization is meant to kill all living organisms which includes seeds...a seed doesn't last alive for more than five minutes in a pressure cooker.

I'm pretty sure those hempseeds are already sterile, though if the DEA ban goes through They may be harder to find. I'm not sure if raw sterilized seeds are considered a food product or not. I guess they could sell it as birdseed. Most of the hempseed I've tried has been old and dried out, and not very tasty. I can tell you that it is actually very nutritious to humans, but I'm not sure about fungi. It has a lot of "nutritionally complete" protein consisting of a very balanced mix of amino acids, as well as vitamin E, linoleic, linolenic and gamma linoleic fatty acids. Unfortunately by the time you get them it is probably partially rancid. I think the magnesium content is fairly high due to the chlorophyll.
