Ye Olde Shroomerye

Thinking of our anniversary, I'd like to see the progression of how the Shroomery looked from the mists of the past to the present day.
Admins, I think you are the only ones who can make this happen. Please break out the Shroomery archive and take a couple of screenshots of how the Shroomery looked through the ages, from the oldest skin to our modern blue.
It would be a really cool thing to see.
When I became a member in odd-two the Shroomery came in the hard yellows of oldskool. For me, the Shroomery was and is yellow. I use the Vintage Shroomery skin, which I think was the bestlooking skin ever made, as well as the one that's the easiest on the eyes in the late hours of insomniac nights.

I too still use vintage.
Not a huge fan of the blue.

Personally I feel the blue one is harder on the eyes if you're doing long late-night sessions.

I use gray plastic a lot of the time.. sometimes I toggle to the deluvian ones, old school shroomery, royal red, or desert.
Is the "Old School Shroomery" skin the original BB skin here? I can't remember. The subject just came up in another thread.

I wish we still had all the old layouts! In my count we've had six.
The first layout was horrendous. It had three frames. The top one was used only for "back" and "forward" links, because I'd just discovered Javascript and it was soooo much cooler than forcing people to use the buttons in their browser. The left one was for navigation, big square images with the labels rendered in some 3D text Photoshop plugin. I still remember that the image for 'Trip Reports' was a blatant copyright-infringing scan of dizzy Calvin from a book (the flatbed scanner - another cool piece of tech I had to use!) But the worst part of the layout was the primary color scheme - bright red, yellow and blue for the main, top and left frames respectively. During the time that layout was up, I fried a full 30% of my retinas.
Next came the scheme which introduced #FFCC66 or "Shroomery Orange". It was derived from the original layout but the colors were changed. The top frame was changed to dark blue and the left frame changed to dark green. I also made new images for the navigation frame, because the old ones were antialiased on a bright blue background. No more Calvin.
Next scheme kept the same colors but eliminated the top frame. The left part was redesigned to hide the use of frames and look like it was 'jutting off' the main page. The navigation elements were changed to horizontal bars with a comic font and an empty round circle on the left side, when you moused over them an icon would appear in the circle. It looked like this but you have to use your imagination for the left frame.
After that came a scheme which changed only the left frame. The links were changed to text, and when you moused over them an open circle would appear to the left. Clicking a link would make the center of the circle fade in. Archive.org has an incomplete copy of the site using this layout. I also let http://scug.net/ use the code and you can still see it in action over there.
After that came the one you all know and love.
This almost became a layout but didn't.
And then this one!
What's the earliest layout you all remember?

I'm a huge fan of "cool blue". I've been using it as long as I could.

I'm using deluvian blue right now; before I switched, it was deluvian green.
I really enjoy the white text, I guess. Good stuff all around.
Peace.

I remember this one. In fact, there is a code at the bottom to put a link to the Shroomery on your website, and I used to have one of those little buttons on my Geocities site that I made for a project in my high school tech class.
Good times.
