i used to see this guy a long ass time ago on MTV, and hear his name places, but i never realled payed attention. I just got his "traveling without moving" cd for free, and figured ide give it a listen. I really like this stuff! hes got such a "soft" feeling to his music that i really like. anyone else got any CD recommendations by him?

Get a hold of his first work, emergency on planet earth Incredibly awesome album, with a way more pure sound and not as "disco" but more rocky-funk-ish, with ecological subjects and great energy. It's the only album I've bought twice in my life 
I'll post some songs later for you to hear.

funnily enough, when i saw this thread, i was listening to cosmic girl.
i love the band, even if jay is a notorius dick. he keeps running of musicians because they just cant deal with him anymore. stu zender's bass playing on traveling without moving is seriously on point. not too much... not too little.
