PF Albino Failer...

These are some pics of my Albino that i've had in the FC for about a week and a half.. They haven't been getting any bigger but just about all of them look fully matured but are still small and stubby... And almost all of them have blue discoloration.. My pinset was pretty good and they were misted daily and had plenty of FAE... I used 50/50 peat, verm for casing and PF cakes for substrate...
Any ideas where i went wrong??

off hand I'm not seeing the failure.
what went wrong again?
fruits too small?
well, look at your substrate depth.

Whoa....those are certainly strange cubes. Make sure to post pics when they mature.
The pics that Workman posted of his strain were mature. I didn't envision the babies looking quite like that!

I'm not too familiar with any of the albino strains, but I can certainly say you've got a bacterial problem or an additive in your misting bottle that's stressing the fruitbodies. Or a chemical contaminating the fruitbodies like bleach, lysol exc. from the outside of the project. Even being very mature, they shouldn't look like that. Not that bad.

Actually, those don't look too bad. Perhaps a bit too wet which could be causing some bacteria problems. This strain is very abnormal and small fruits are common. The excessive bluing is also typical and shows up with the slightest amount of stress. Also, the lack of pigment makes the bluing even more dramatic. This flush won't get any larger and should be harvested immediately. Later flushes should produce taller and larger mushrooms.

I mist using a 1:10 Hydrogen Peroxide mix... Any have them in a mini greenhouse at 90-95% RH

Sure, but don't eat them fresh if you suspect bacterial problems. Drying them out or putting them in boiling hot water for tea will kill nearly all bacteria if present. Also avoid any that appear to be rotten unless you like stomach aches. Food poisoning is no fun.

I would give them a look over once or twice before making that decision, you should be able to tell any contam. from bluing since these are albino, I'm not sure if you should eat them dry or wet though
get a few more opinions other then mine.
I agree with workman, harvest them soon as you can..

Just harvested them and they are drying...
I patched the casing and put it back in the FC hopefully later flushes will turn out better...

Yeah, they're too wet. They'll be fine once dried. Looks like you have some nice clustering though so other than too wet I'd say your'e on the right track. All PF strains are sensitive to moisture and tend to like things drier than most vars but the PFA is the most sensitive I've ever seen.
*just noticed something else: Look Workman..high btw ..not so much nodding there. I really think that it will eventually be bred out all together. My most recent isolate doesn't nod at all and has nice thick stems under the cap..no pinch. They still don't seem to want to follow the light but they are straight.

Here's a couple of pics from some early PFA from Sporeworks that I had done using 50/50 and millet. You can see just how dry the casing is. It's even sucked away from the edge of the pan. Your RH levels are fine but try to keep misting minimal during the fruiting process and give them a good soaking after each harvest. You'll get it! This is so far the most common problem I see people have with the PFA.
