Bin Laden is terrible; why does GWB keep pimping him?

I think every time Bush says the name Osama Bin Laden, UBL gains 1500 followers.
By Blaming UBL, and repeatedly using his name, I think Bush has (inadvertedly) hyped him throughout the Muslim regions. Bush did not create the monster, but he does continue to call him out as an adversary.
Bush has turned him into a Rock Star. How about the Muslim Marilyn Mason? Not too many followers, but MM was nothing before all the controvery created by the media.

This is exactly what i was talking about NOT. It doesn't hurt there ego, it boost it. How many 'Al Qaeda in _________' were there before we started pimping Bin Laden?
We have given them a 'superpower' status. They are the only one's who have been adversaries to the US since the fall of the iron curtain. But instead of just some crazy religious movement, they now have a figurehead. A clearly singled out individual, who fights the US. How did that policy work with Castro? Can you name the leaders of any other caribbean country?
By Personifying this fight, Bush has allowed UBL to reach 'heavyweight' status. Its now a boxing match with each fighter standing nose to nose. I can see the promotional posters.
It should be the civilized world against religious extremist. EVERYTIME. Forget the word 'terrorist' By labeling them with such a strong word, you give them power.
Terrorist commit Terror, so... Every time they commit an act, you, by calling them 'terrorist', are telling them they already succeeded. By acknowledging they create 'terror' you are feeding them what they want, and pat them on the back. They get media attention, and fear is shown, which is exactly what they want.
If you called them extremist all the time, when they succeed, you call them extreme. The linguistic differences between the translation of Terrorist and Extremist could be shattering. In English, Terrorist is one who creates terror, who the fuck knows how it is translated into Arabic. (That could be a totally different post.) Extremist is one who advocates or resorts to measures beyond the norm.
So you can call them not normal, or give them a 'title' that they already seek.
Bush has given UBL the '#1 Contenders' position. Maybe not on purpose, maybe on purpose, but it backfired into this, but everytime Bush references the name UBL, Bin Laden gains power and probably followers.

Bush repeats his name so many times because they think the more they say it the more it becomes true (that he's the mastermind behind all the evil in the world). Heaven forbid we forget who's the cause of all our problems, that might cause people to start to look at the govt instead of some stranger hiding in a cave somewhere.

The Not-so-secret Secret is:
Bush and Bin Laden both need and promote each other.

Some win, when i see pictures of their dead bodies and ak's next to them ill believe that bullshit. But estimating random airstrikes in some camel village doesnt equate progress in my book. Same exact deal in Vietnam.
If you want to destroy the insurgency in Afghanistan, then A cut the opium profitting or legitimize it, take away the profits of the insurgents, and B use strong local intelligence and light infantry to root them out. Overreliance on the airstrike only creates more collateral damage and more enemies, a village that is airstriked will more then likely supply the anti-coalition forces. It is a tactic that DOES NOT work in Iraq or Afghanistan or any modern war for that matter.

Osama Bin Laden, a Saudi Prince, had his PR down LONG before the White House became an agent.
Edit: my bad. Should've checked my facts before posting.

Osama Bin Laden was THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO GEORGE W. BUSH.
Therein lies your answer.
Hence the outsourcing of the hunt for Bin Laden around the time of Tora Bora. Half-hearted efforts are a giveaway.
Bush's neocons need that boogey man continually in front of the American people to consolidate power in the executive. So far it has worked like a charm.
