if your using an air tight container... dont... that was my whole problem and it took a while to figure it out too... just use foil on top of a pyrex dish and you should have no troubles, but i think it has a lot to do on humidity in your region because i know some people do use near air tight printing vessels...

My technique is placing the cap gills facing down on the thing you want the print on, and putting a glass cup over it. I've never done this with psilocybes, but when I first got into mushrooms I took a cap from my backyard and did this and it worked perfectly except for the paper getting wet from the humidity in the glass leaking down.

Take a couple of paper towels and fold em to fit in with your print
foil. Then cover em in foil and bake em in the oven 20 min/300 deg
to steralize and dry them. Then after they cool, put em in with
your print foil. They will draw the moisture out of your cap
and cause the spores to drop. Two paper  towels  laying
next to a stack of 7 or 8 caps folded in foil works real well.
Hope that helps.

see what bum recomended is exactly what im talking about not working... im sure it works for him but in region it doesnt, the humidity is way to high and the cap wont drop its spores, so i have to use a pyrex dish with foil crimped around the edges just as a cover, but not air tight at all... works really great and they drop in less than 24 hours.... but with a cup/jar anything that makes a glass to glass or air tight seal just will not work for me

hey Uv1, glad to hear you got some fruits. I rmember whn you were worried about the slow growth in your jars@!

Howd they turn out? You didn't give them worried vibes while they were growing i hope...they absorb all the vibes man, and they get scared of dropping their spores. Thats your problem.
