Do liberty caps need much or any rain to grow?

I know for subbs it takes alot of rain for them to grow...We haven't got that this year...So I haven't picked crap outta all the times I went out looking.
But Liberty caps, I wanna get some of these while the season is here. Its usually %100% humidity or so at night, and we get morning dew...Tempatures under 10c...Going down to 5c tonight..Is that enough for them to grow?
Or do they require cold weather and a day of rain or more?

Temps are right, rain would help...I know here in Ottawa we have not gotten eneugh rain yet...will be keeping my eyes open too.
I would suggest looking anyways though, you never know.
Cheers

It rained last night here in Northern Ireland Dunno how heavily, but the ground is still wet now which is a good sign. I'll post pics of my finds (if any!). I'm hoping that I'll be tripping tonight for the first time in a year!

I have been wondering this. How quickly will liberties grow after it rains, if it rains one night, are they grown enough to hunt for within 12 hours? It seems like people always hunt them within a day after it rains. I thought you were suppose to wait about 3 days after it rains.

There was no rain for a few days where i live. The temp went down to around 7 lastnight.
I went for a hunt this morning and only found 5 liberty caps , im guessing in a week or two there will be a lot of them around, with the colder weather and some rain.

Nope they sure dont. It does help though. A hevy dew in the morning, and cool temps is all it takes to start them. If you want the bigh flushes you gotta have the rain.
