Is there anything anyone recomends to do/take that will aid in digesting the mushrooms fibers so they do not hurt your stomach and make you want to vomit. Anyone? Im sure there are some type of stomach meds or something, anyone have any prefrences?

I had the same problem. The answer is either tea, or powdered shrooms,stuffed into capsules. You wont feel a thing. (in your stomach!)

Or you can try a coffee grinder and grind some cracker dry shrooms out and put them in your soup.

tea does help if you consume the shrooms that way, but sometimes even tea makes me vomit (i have a weeeak stomach) id like to know how to avoid some of this too, over the years ive just dealt with it but id like to know a way for it to be more comfortable...

My bf has the same problem. Many have suggested Ginger Tripps, available at health food stores, where the vitamins are. I don't know if they'll work for him, because he's too scared to try yet. Guess that last big puke did him in.

Camomile tea calms your stomach and tickles your taste buds. Ginger does work to calm your stomach. Inhale the scent of lavender oil. Marijuana is used to stop chemo patients from vomiting. They have recommended not to smoke while doing mushrooms, but if it stops the nausea then I would try it. If you have a lot of mushrooms, try some of the extraction techniques using alcohol or acids and leave behind the things that make you vomit. See my previous post under Mushroom Lemonade. It's worth a try if it lets you enjoy. I don't know if the lemonade works as I haven't tried it yet but I believe it will and I will try it when I get my mushrooms growing.

Try to find some phenergan (generic is promethazine). It will
settle your stomach even if you're violently ill with the flu and
can't even hold down water. And they're not highly controlled
so it's pretty easy to get a doc to call some in for nausea.
And smoking pot while on shrooms is great. The two drugs
really compliment each other nicely.

dont smoke wile tripping??? fuck that... but weed just doesnt calm my stomach from the violent cramps shrooms SOMETIMES cause... but it does help my stomach on all other occaisions

I guess there's more than one way to skin a cat! LOL
Personally, my spinchter is "EXIT ONLY!" I'd rather put
up with the nausea.
Although I've worried about getting sick on shrooms, I never
have or even felt like I was going to. One time I was already
tripping and tried eating some fresh picked and it seemed like
it was expanding in my mouth. Kinda freaked me out. But I
really didn't need any more anyway.
But I do have a weak stomach, and phenergan has got me
through several other emergencies.
Oh yeah, they make em in suppositories if you like that
sort of thing.

Plugging (sticking a pill up the rear) is fairly common in the ecstasy world. Here is how I've heard it described.
When you swallow a pill you get about 40% of the possible effects due to the digestion process. When you plug it dissolves and bypasses the digestive system giving you more like 70% of the possible effects. I don?t know all the details but I have done it and it is true, the buzz is much more intense. Seems logical that it would work for shrooms too.
For all those going, "Ewww, that?s gross", think how many Preparation H suppositories they sell, and those do work! Guess I'm getting old

So is LSD, coke, meth and about any other man made drug. Weed, shrooms and other natural things are bad too when done in excess. Tap water has been shown to be bad for you!
Only in the last 100 to 150 years have our bodies been exposed to so many man made things that it cant adapt to them that fast.

this guy i know recommended getting a boston cream donut... open it up and put the shrooms in that... close it back up and eat it... you won't notice the taste
personally i like the taste and it doesn't make my tummy hurt
only afterwards 'cause i'm allergic to them

Well I always enjoy a nice cup of tea, but as far as the plugging suggestion goes wouldnt gell caps have to be in your ass for quite some time? Depending on the type it takes them a while to disolve in your stomach so you would probably have 6+ (3 grams) caps up your ass for a long time. And what about those who have difficulty growing like myself? They would have to stick several cakes up their ass to feel any affect. I say just stick to conventional methods for shrooms. There also might be some health risks to having a fungus inserted in the tail end of your digestive tract. Oh well.. to each his own.
