for those that did not look at the sporelab thread
hip says everything is fine, their box was hacked and they had plans to do a major upgrade anyway so they are doing that as well since the site is down

On a more relivent note
hips said our server box was hacked
about a week before topia went down we had a huge spike in online users.. something like 600
of the them trying to access a dead link
that was the begining
over the next few days the server was almost completely taken over
they had to build a completely new server box, and install and update to new software
hip did say that as far as he could tell none of the information was lost
but he might reset to a few days before the hack just to be safe
i hope all you topiates are holding in there

hey simisu...
Everything looked awesome as far as colonization, but the damn things wouldn't fruit for the life of me. One guy on the topia actually got them to fruit, can't remember who, think maybe the chosen one...but it was a nice grow log. He got the spores from Zee_werp like I did...only he had better luck.

I tried many times, on many different substrates, colonization went amazingly good, just never fruit....I tried temp drops, the whole 9 yards

yeah...I'd say it was even more aggressive than oysters....why it didn't fruit, is still a mystery to me....just not the right climate I guess. Only mushroom I couldn't fruit so far
