bad trader forum-

i put this here because it will get seen here-i am going to put it in spore exchange too-i think a bad trader/vendor forum is an excellent idea-i have been burned on trades-anyone else?-

having a bad trader forum/vendor forum is a great idea !

Most people do not like double posting. Trading belongs in the exchange forum, not here. There have been similar suggestions in the past. The problem that comes up is grudges. Someone could easily ruin a reputation by posting in a "bad traders" post. There is currently a "good traders post" in which praise for good follow through on trades can be offered. I would suggest you simply post a single thread w/ the users name and describing the situation in the exchange forum if you feel you have been burnt.

I totally agree with Joshua on this one.

It would be an easy way to ruin and hurt someone.
I'd hate to see that happen to someone.
Now if they were like a few people that were out right ripping people off and not returning their trades.....Post a warning....or put a nasty message about them in your signature til they come clean or leave the forum.
In the past I have seen several people stick peoples names in there signature for months....telling people that they got ripped off by so and so.
Now that is a great idea....if you ask me.;)

The only people who have anything to fear, is the bad traders.

If they are allowed to get away with it, many more will get stung. If you have been given a bum deal on a trade you will know how it is, if not, its not nice.
This is just an attempt to stop the users who think the spore exchange is a ticket to a free print.
Why not give it a go. If it turns into a freak show (grudge fest), then it can be deleted by the moderators. If it works, to even stop one more person being ripped off, then it is worth while.

its not a bad idea, i got ripped off by someone i wont mention and when i posted stuff about it they made right on it... but other people sent me prints beforet they did (thanks everyone) but by me posting about being ripped off it caused the guy to actually send me a print.
