He sort of half fell a few times, but caught himself. I don't think I could have held on through all of that pain. The whole thing, from when he stepped on the nest until they dragged him down and into the water, probably lasted about 3 and 1/2 minutes, and it felt like hours. I was pretty sure that I was going to watch him let go and land on the rocks, and wind up paralyzed or dead or some shit. He spent the rest of the vacation covered with oatmeal or whatever they put on his stings, but was actually in pretty good spirits and even joked about it.
I've been stung once by a bee, and 5 times by a hornet. One hornet. I was just coming back into work from my lunch break, and one flew up the fucking leg of my jeans. It started stinging around my shin, worked it's way all the way up to the back of my thigh. I had to rip my pants off in the middle of the office while people looked at me running around with no pants on screaming like I was a fucking lunatic. Luckily, my office was all women, or I would have been really embarrassed

comeone, admit it, you just wanted to do that for the fun, there wasnt a bee involved
my experience was with a mixed group, men and women, some a little to young to be hearing the shit I was screaming

I had to leave work early that day. Not because I was hurt or anything, I mean the stings hurt, but it wasn't anything excruciating...I was so shaken up by it, that I kept thinking that the hornet was back in my pants, every time my leg bumped the printer next to me, or if my pantleg shifted the wrong way, I'd jump up from my desk, heart racing, thinking I was about to have to disrobe again
I never found the culprit either. He must have flown away in the chaos. I'm sure he was terrified though, stuck in my pants, with no idea what was going on...I guess I would have stung too
