On the banner it reads "We, the people, republican and democrat, demand to have our questions about 9/11 publicly answered."
My idea. Reasonable, no?
BTW This massive protest going on from 10am to 10 pm will be the estimated largest New York City protest since the Civil Rights era.
that sounds like it should be good.
Good luck, and report back here and let us know how it goes, I wanna hear if it has any effect!

But I wish more that the Democrats had a real stance on something. How about comming together as a party in back of universal health care.

The Dem plan for paying troops more would probably be to have less of them but maintain the same overall expense. Not what I consider a good idea. The level of troop pay should be just exactly enough to entice the needed level of recruits to enlist.Quote:

Rove is a political genius. He turned the word 'liberal' into the 4 letter F bomb. Dems need to preach 6 years of republican 'conservatism' has cost us more than money, its set us back as a country, with all the no-bid contracts, Bridge To Nowhere , and gereral lack of improvement of American lives.
"Liberal" was an "EF" word before Rove came along. Think William F Buckley and Ronnie. And "Pork" is not a Republican invention. In fact, I think the Repubs just passed a "pork" sunshine law http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/archives/008016.php#comments No bid contracts are generally bad but occasionally necessary. Dems can stamp and shoot and spit but they have never ever shown any ability to run an economy. All they ever do is fuck it up. And, just in case you didn't know it, life has never been better. Ever. Could it be better? Sure, but only if I was Emperor

If the Dems don't win control of at least one of the houses of Congress, then they are so pathetic that their presidential candidate may as well be that lady who married Bill Clinton.

Lady? LADY? How about that overweening ball-removing gold-digging hanger-on cunt carpetbagger bitch? The only reason she isn't picking up dog stool for a living is because of a REAL man's prostate cancer. And they are pathetic and they will fail. Again.

I wasnt saying that was a democratic platform, or even regular ideas for democrats. I just want to hear something fresh.
I personally am a libertarian, yet believe in gov't regulations for key parts of life (Food & water supply, environment, FDA, Corp regulations to prevent ENRON, ect.) I believe that America is better off with Intelligent/College educated American Kids as scientist, doctors, engineers. If the Govt already pays for poor children and old people health care, why not everyone else? Health care is a joke as is. Who would have a problem with paying more federal income taxes, instead of them taking it out as your insurance payment anyway?
In 2000, I was a McCain Republican. I registered as Republican, and voted for McCain, only to have him lose out to Oil Tycoon Bush.
I did not like Al Gore, I did not like John Kerry, (I did vote for Dennis Kucinich in 2004Dem primary, even though i knew he would lose. But I damn sure couldn't vote for Deh Turd
I am a Teddy Roosevelt Republican! Big Stick Diplomacy But even McCain is starting to schill to the 'Bob Jones' crowd. Who will step up?
Howard Stern keeps talking about running in 2008 Barack Obama?

Well, unless Bush and his cronies help all the Republican congressmen and Senators steal the upcoming election, I'd say the Dems will sweep it.
Not that I don't think Bush will try to fix the election, I'm sure he will. The question is "will he be able to get away with it?". The Democrats are still powerful enough to uncover scams and contest elections. Nixon got caught, Bush might as well.
I am rather optimistic because something as bad as what has been happening for the past 6 years has got to hit a breaking point and end or at least get set back. Plus, a lot of folks in high places are showing a trend of finally waking up to the idiocy of the Bush administration.

I don't think we actually know what he has done up to this point. I'd like to see some congressional inquiries happen.
