Sure it would, we can hope for an impeachment if we get enough Democrats, oh and the ending of the war in Iraq thingy too.

yeah, if both houses are Democrat, then the president loses much of his power (not like he really runs the show anyway...he's a puppet).
however, right now with all red houses, and cabinet, they can basically do whatever the fuck they want... the republican machine all functions together to ruin lives. electing democrats is like throwing a stick in the spoked of their bike.

I think America, is getting tired of this so-called war going on. But Monday is 9-11-06, expect more people to start flying their pro-war flags again, not there is anything wrong with that.

yeah, but it's unlikely they'd try anything on such an obvious date, the security is increased, and it's on everyone's mind. if they were smart they'd do it on a day when nobody cares
like april 20th

The Democrats won't stop the war even if they win both the House and Senate. You forget that their pockets are just as lined with lobbyist money as the Republicans are.

Dems may take Senate, but definitely not the House. As has been stated, doesn't matter anyhow. Both parties are the same. Fuck em all, vote Libertarian.

probably way sooner than that, perhaps around election time.
many questions about authority are being raised, many respected people have stood up to expose nine-eleven as in inside job.
the ruling powers now need a new attack so they can point their fingers at us and say, "See, we told you so, but you wouldn't listen to us."

The Republicans will keep both houses
I wish it wasnt true.
But I wish more that the Democrats had a real stance on something. How about comming together as a party in back of universal health care. Overhaul the 'war on drugs'. Give the people the abilty to choose where there SS money goes, instead of using the revenue immediatly, Preach Fiscal responcablity. Offer a lot more finanial aid to college students. Offer to pay the troops more. Overhaul FEMA, ANYTHING other than BUSH IS A FUCKUP. I ALREADY KNEW THAT. Give me something new/refreshing.
Rove is a political genius. He turned the word 'liberal' into the 4 letter F bomb. Dems need to preach 6 years of republican 'conservatism' has cost us more than money, its set us back as a country, with all the no-bid contracts, Bridge To Nowhere , and gereral lack of improvement of American lives.

Damn straight direct action, going to new york today for the 9/11 truth movement protest and I have a giant 30 foot long banner that is held by two people, from sticks attached to each side. On the banner it reads "We, the people, republican and democrat, demand to have our questions about 9/11 publicly answered."
My idea. Reasonable, no?
BTW This massive protest going on from 10am to 10 pm will be the estimated largest New York City protest since the Civil Rights era.
