Waiting for the heat in washington!
    #604706 - 04/10/02 09:55 PM (15 years, 21 days ago)

I would love for the temp to climb a little, i am pretty sure that is why i have not found anything these past few times i have gone hunting. Has anyone else in Washington had any luck with any wild shrooms. I havnt seen one! It looks like it is gonna rain untill next tuesday whitch i guess will be pretty good, get everything nice and wet. The temp will still not get out of the mid 50's. CARDBOARD if you do come down on friday let me know... Truthfully i dont know if it would be worth if for you to come just for the pan subs cause i have not heard of anyone finding any out here yet. But you never know. If you do make the trip i will meet up with you and take you around to a few of my spots if you want.

i am up by seattle a little to the east. How is the season going in vancouver? Any luck yet. I go down that way sometimes are there some good spots? I am always looking for new places to pick if you are interested in going with a partner.

Accually many of the species in the NW dont need warm temps anyway. MJ has already found some stuntzii this year. With this rain we have been getting I would say it has been pretty promising weather.

he found som stuntzii! thats awesome, maybe i should go check my stuntzii fields, of maybe not he probably picked them closer to sea level i am up at almost 500 feet elevation so my season seeems to be a little different. I love the lib season and the beao season up here though cause it always seem like they start high and work there way down the mountains so as soon as they start showing up i can pick hem very easily untill they are gone.

Actually MJ found those before the snow we had.
I haven't seen him post that he has found any since.

And no there is no Liberty Caps this time of year....in Washington State.
