I tend to think of bin laden as a real person. Since there is much evidence as to his involvement in the soviet resistance. That is where he became friendly with the CIA, basically became an agent or an "asset". Bin laden worked for us then and is likely cooperating with us now. But openly he will continue to be an enemy, the masses need a boogyman to keep them toting the line.

Seems perfectly plausible to me. Unless you believe everything your government tells you. Really, what evidence is there to say that OBL is not cooperating with the US government. I know, I know maybe it's:

1) The fact he hasn't been caught yet
2) The fact he hasn't been killed yet
3) The fact he puts out a new "message" at key times for the bush administration
4) The fact that he worked with the CIA in the soviet resistance
5) The fact that after 9/11 the only private airplane to leave the ground, was the one that flew the Bin Ladens out of the country

Honestly, isn't the guy on dialysis, he would have a lot to gain health wise by doing this for the US government. I have a hard time believing he is living in caves with such health problems.

Just for once stop listening to your T.V. and think of what makes sense to you.

I don't believe that they "hate us" because of our cultural differences.

They "hate us", because we pilliage their resources, invade their lands, and kill them. That's just a guess though I could be wrong.

So it's okay for Muslims to pillga, invade, kill, and convert but somehow the West can't do the same to them?

when's the last time Muslims invaded our country and pillages our resources? Unless you mean pillaging "our" oil resources that just happened to be located in their part of the world. In addition to that, when is the last time a Muslim nation appointed a leader to our neighbors?

And I would argue that Christians have been converting more people, for more years. Just not in the middle-east, which is another factor in why we have a problem right now.

Exactly, they will never EVER conquer JACK SHIT EVER AGAIN. Get it? Every time they try to get any power we will crush them and make sure they play by our rules. That doesn't mean they can be prosperous though but under our supervision, kinda like Japan and Europe after WWII.

This is just a little theory of mine, not quite sure I believe it myself, but ANYTHING is possible.

Any of you ever wonder why just after 9/11 the only airplanes that could fly were military, air force 1, and that plane to Saudi Arabia, with the Bin Ladens on it?

And you wonder why people don't take you seriously?

So, why can't we just let them live by their own rules instead of ours? Oh yea, because we live in a nation ruled by greedy pigs who want what someone else has and is willing to kill them or conquer them, whichever seems easier, to get it.

And you don't see a problem with this?

Of course I do. I wish every1 in the world was peaceful and could share the resources of the world. Wouldn't that be great?

Please, point out the word "peace" or phrase "shared resource" in my statement.

We wouldn't need their resources if we used our own oil, first and foremost, that we produce here and/or switched to alternative fuels. But wait, once again, our greedy officials have millions-billions of dollars invested there and they wouldn't want to lose that to 1) help us as a nation and 2) cut back on pollution.

There is a big difference between needs and wants.

And how is that not stealing?

What if I decided to "control" your house in order to obtain " needed resources"?

Yeah, but appropriating a citizen's land and giving them a fair market value is somewhat different than subjugating an entirely different country and taking their shit, wouldn't you say?

in some ways yes, and in some ways no

You have to understand it's not like the gov't hasn't told farmers to get off, offered them money, were refused, and then took their land anyways w/out compensation. It's rare, but it has happened.

I'm not sure but I think the law says they must give fair market value compensation.
