Found in sandy soil and earth were four specimens of what we beo lieve is a possible new species of Psilocybe.
At first i thought they slightly resembled P. cubensis. However, the three to four inch stems of the four specimens had no annulus or remnants of any veil present and the caps were Pea -sized or the size equal tot he small finger nail on your hands.
HEre is jne image of these rare specimens, of which one will be sent to Workman in the Caribbean for some culture and cultivation work. Theothers remain here at the university in Bangkok and we also will attempt to make a culture and grow some so we can continue the research on this cool find.
Here is one image of the four specimens.

A few Copes which are dryuing for herbarium deposit. You can se some blue in a few of them.

And finally a creepy crawling millipede who invaded the area where the shrooms were. He crawled onto a marble slab in the paddie where I was aat Ban Taling Ngam.

mj and have a shroomy day. I am

Neat! Reminds me of the classic illustration of Psilocybe aztecorum.

Looks like you're having a good ol time.
Like the Copelandia collection too, you must be spore printing a lot of them.
