I'm looking to purchase an entire set-up. I've seen a few kits for sale at different sites. However, I want advice from the pro's. You Guys! Where should I go? Best Kits? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Your better off making your own set up.

If you want a maintance free set up....buy a hydra-pod.

I have 3 fruiting chambers and a pod...for cakes.
And a new setup for casings. << a Annovator...lolz

Do it urself, it is much easier and way cheaper, just read the FAQ and everypost for a few months and you ill be set, thats what i did my frist time

DON'T buy a kit!

Incubation Chamber:
Make one like this:

PM for details.

Fruiting chamber:
For cost effectiveness you cant beat making one yourself.
For taking out all the guesswork and getting it right the first time it's hard to beat a Hydra-Pod.
Like Roadkill I have both.

You will need lots of other things like jars, substrate material, spore prints and syringes or spore syringes (already made up, good for a newbie) Ect.. Ect.. Ect.

How you do it really depends on how much $$ you have to play with.

Again.... DON'T buy a kit!

I'd go with building your own, definitely. Just poke around the forums here, look at pictures, steal other people's ideas, and keep it simple, and you'll have no trouble at all :smile:

I haven't started my first real grow yet, but i'm well on my way. Got my mycobags incubating now (thanks sporeworks!), and in the meantime I've designed and built a really kickass fruiting chamber from all the stuff i've read. Pics to come when I get my digital camera soon, and if the ventilation system I designed works as well as I think it will, I'm gonna write a tek for it.

But anyway, my point is, I've managed to build an incubator that stays around 85F constantly for $20, and a fruiting chamber that stays humid and automatically circulates it's air supply for $60. If I can do it, anyone can, and save loads of money on it too!
